Hey there, thanks for visiting the new website, it’s lovely to see you (digitally of course for now). We are Jo and Nigel (and family) and we are the new(ish) owners of Leconfield Kennels and Cattery, we can’t wait to meet you and your fluffy friends for a visit soon. We thought it would be best to introduce ourselves and explain a little bit about what why we bought the business and made it our home.
Due to the Covid 19 pandemic it has been a strange start to our adventure since acquiring the kennels. We took over the business in 2020 from the existing owners after they chose to sell the facility and retire. We are a passionate family of animal lovers and wanted to run a business that allowed us the chance to help house other animal lovers with their furry friends. Leconfield Kennels and Cattery is our family home where we eat, sleep and breathe what we do. Our kids have their pets on site and our family (and trusted staff members) provide a loving and safe environment that we know we would expect from someone if they were looking after our pet. Like everyone in the UK, it’s been a bit stop/start since we moved in, due to Covid and various lockdowns, but we have spent the time investing heavily into the kennels and improving the buildings and surrounding grounds. This investment has been made into upgrading the facilities that we can offer to our customers so we can give you and your furry pup or pussy cat the boarding home they deserve. Since moving in we have improved the quality of the boarding areas, activity facilities, built a new agility area, added more play areas and improved the office/landscaping for our four legged friends and owners to enjoy.
With the country slowly coming out of lockdown and hopefully getting back to some sense of normality we know that there is going to be an increasing need for boarding facilities in Leconfield, Beverley and the surrounding areas. With our village location, set in a beautiful, quiet area looking out into lush green fields, it really is the place to bring your VIP family member.
It’s going to be great to get to show off the new and improved Leconfield Kennels and Cattery and we really are excited to see all our new and existing customers.
